We teach children up to the age of 11 years old,
We have a weight restriction of 8 stone and height restriction of 5"2.
This is for the safety and well fare of our ponies as they are small.
**Weight and height may be checked if you seem to be over our limit**

About Our Riding School
We are a fully Licenced and Insured riding school, which has been established since 2009. We are a small family run business and the yard has been in our family for over 50 years, originally owned by my grandmother in the 60s.
We are a riding school that cater for the younger rider that aims to build your confidence around the ponies whilst having fun!
Our Services:
Tiny Tots
(Pre school age - 4 yrs)
Children will be taught the basics of riding: How to steer, stop, walk and trot! So they gain confidence being around and on the pony. And getting them ready to move up to the next stage of riding without the lead rein.
Lessons / Hacks
(4 - 11 yrs)
In a lesson/hack the child will learn to walk, trot, canter and small jumps. They are taught according to their ability. We play games on the ponies: gymkhana, obstacle courses etc.
Pony Camp
(4 - 11 yrs)
We offer a 2 hour Mini Camp where they feed/water the ponies, groom and tack up and then play games, obstacle courses on the ponies. Followed by a sweetie hunt at the end.
We also offer a 5 hour Pony Camp where they feed/water the ponies, muck out/poo pick, groom and bath the ponies. They then have a lunch break followed by a lesson on how to tack up the ponies properly, games, obstacle courses on the ponies and a sweetie hunt. The day is finished by untacking the ponies, turning them out and tidying up the yard.
Meet The Ponies
DRESS CODE
A solid shoe or boot with a good heel. Trainers may not be worn whilst riding.
Shoulders and arms must be covered at all times during lessons/hacks.
Jodhpurs, leggings or a comfy pair of trousers, no shorts or cropped trousers.
Gloves are recommended.
